Curso intensivo de oftalmología: ojo rojo, ojo marrón, ojo blanco. Módulo I
Descripción del curso
Aprende las causas más comunes que pueden causar la aparición de un ojo rojo, blanco y/o marrón. Durante el curso se analizarán a través de casos clínicos las diferentes dolencias que causan estas patologías: degeneración/distrofia endotelio, glaucoma, uveítis, problemas palpebrales, conjuntivitis, queratoconjuntivitis seca, síndrome braquiocefálico.
Dos semanas antes del curso se abrirá un buzón en la página web para que los asistentes puedan dejar preguntas de interés, dentro de la temática general del curso, que el especialista responderá durante el transcurso de las charlas.
Resultados de aprendizaje generales
- Proporcionar un conocimiento básico de las enfermedades más comunes que causan la aparición de un ojo rojo, blanco y/o marrón.
Acreditación ECTS
Para conseguir el crédito ECTS es necesario:
- Haber realizado los 2 módulos
- Visualizar todos los videos
- Contestar correctamente las preguntas de cada lección
- Realizar la tarea propuesta en cada lección
- Realizar la tarea final (caso práctico)
Modelo de aprendizaje
El programa se estructura en unidades didácticas. Se seguirá la metodología Learning by Doing (aprender haciendo), que combina teoría y práctica. Todas las herramientas y técnicas de aprendizaje empleadas se enfocan a la práctica real de los consultorios, clínicas u hospitales veterinarios.

Course description
Learn the most common causes that can cause the appearance of a red, white and/or brown eye. During the course the different ailments that cause these pathologies will be analysed through clinical cases: endothelial degeneration/dystrophy, glaucoma, uveitis, palpebral problems, conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis sicca, brachycephalic syndrome.
Two weeks before the course a mailbox will be opened on the web page so that attendees can raise questions which fall within the general subject matter of the course, and which the specialist will answer during the lectures.
Aimed at
- General vets, regardless of their experience, who, during their daily practice, must deal with ocular problems.
- Vets, with an incipient specific interest in ophthalmology who wish to complete and to consolidate, under the tutelage of a specialist, clinical concepts, and the practical approach within this discipline.

- To provide a basic knowledge of the most common diseases that can cause the appearance of a red, white and/or brown eye.

To obtain the ECTS credit it is necessary to have:
- Completed the 2 modules

Learning model
The program is structured in didactic units. The Learning by Doing methodology will be followed, combining theory and practice. All learning tools and techniques used are focused on the real practice of veterinary offices, clinics, or hospitals.
